The US VS Russia

The capital of the United States is Washington and the capital of Russia is Moscow. The United States and Russia the both have a population 324, 527, 000 and 144, 554, 993 respectively. America captures 9857, 306 kilometers, whereas the Russia covers 17098, 242 square miles of the planet.

Nuclear Weapons

The United States is the first country to make and use nuclear warheads in the world. Americans started nuclear program in 1941. Since the end of the Second World War, United States emerged as one of the leading country with possessing nuclear warheads and it lasted approximately to 1980s. 

In 1960, the Americans had over 30,000. However, it is worth to note that throughout the entire period of the so-called Cold War, USA managed to build approximately 70,000 nuclear warheads, what is more than all other countries with access to nuclear weapons combined. 
The American made the first test during 1945. It is estimated that the United States has conducted 1054 tests of atomic bombs. Still, as a result of introduced restrictions on the amount of warheads one state can possess, the current number has dropped to 6500 warheads. 

The second richest state to have researching, developing, and then storing nuclear weapon is Russia. In 1949, Russia made the first nuclear test. At that time, it was taken with surprise for the Western Powers, as they believed that Russia won’t be capable of producing nuclear warheads. At the end of 1980, the Russia were the leading power of having 40,000 warheads – approximately.

Currently like United States, the Russians store a total number of 6490 warheads, what is scarcely more than USA. When it comes to the number of deployed warheads, the amount is the same as in case of Americans, namely 1600 deployed warheads. 
Russia has conducted over 700 tests, what makes them the second most important nation when it comes to developing nuclear weapons.

Military budget of the United States is 610 billion $, which is 31% of the GDP, whereas the Military budget of Russia is estimated 633 billion $. Which is 43% of the GDP.

The basic age limit to join the army in the United States is 18 years of age. The parental consent is mandatory to join the army in America. Both male and female can join the armed forces. The maximum age limit is 42 for Army, 27 for Air Force, 34 for Navy and 28 for Marines respectively.
The basic age limit to join the army in the Russia is between 18 to 27 years of age for compulsory or voluntary military service. 6 months of training is mandatory for each cadet.
